and life in the South. I'm Annie Jones, owner of the bookshelf, an independent bookstore in beautiful

downtown Thomasville, Georgia. And today I'm joined by our bookshelf customer of the month, Hunter

McClendon. Hunter is a native Tom Svillian

and we'll be chatting all about books and art and what we're reading right now. Before we get

started, I wanted to remind local listeners of two upcoming big events at the bookshelf. The first

is a book signing with author Bob Goff. Bob is an inspirational author of the New York Times bestselling book Love Does, and he will

be joining us on Thursday, October 1st.

So if you're listening to this on launch day, then it's a week from today on October

1st at 5.30 at the bookshelf.

He will be signing copies of Love Does and interacting and mingling with

customers. We're really looking forward to it. Then on Friday, October 2nd, we are launching

our third annual one book celebration. Our whole town reads a book together every year. And this

year we are reading The Happiness Project by New York Times bestselling author Gretchen

Rubin. The events kick off on October 2nd with a flash mob in downtown Thomasville, so it's

sure to be a good time. Come on downtown at 7 o'clock next Friday, join in the fun, stop by the

bookshelf to pick up your book and a swag bag full of one book and

happiness project related goodies.
