Last weekend I took a great trip out to Indianapolis which I really do like as a city.

It's friendly and walkable, and it's home to St Elmo's Steakhouse, which is always a treat, and which was this time too.

In addition to the game at Lucas Oil Stadium we went to a AAA baseball game at

Victory Field which is a lovely little ballpark. I've actually been there before.

Given what happened to the Cleveland Indians, now the Cleveland Guardians.

It was funny seeing a team named the Indians play in a professional baseball game, but, well, they play

in Indianapolis, so they can't really change the name, can they?

It would be like the Los Angeles, Los Angelesers deciding that Los Angeleser was an offensive name.

Okay, now what?

In that respect, the Indians are like the Utah Utes.

In 2021 Duval County, Florida near me,

voted on the question of whether to change the name of Andrew Jackson High School. The final tally was 4-3 against which whatever one thinks of Andrew Jackson I'm not a big fan

Makes a certain sense when you consider that Andrew Jackson High School is in Jacksonville
