Christmas morning treat in the form of Taika Watiti talking about his new film, Next Goal, Wins.

Just before I get on to that, I've just actually, as you are listening to this,

I'm actually recording this on the evening of the 23rd of December.

And I've just come back from the cinema from watching Godzilla minus one with my teen

Japanese film.

Oh my gosh,

it's so beautiful.

I mean, I've seen a lot of Godzilla films

in my time, but this is something

that just, I don't know,

it surpasses anything I've seen.

It's just absolutely exquisite

and the score is

extraordinary. So the

film has been written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki and I am just

blown away by it. Naoki Sato has done the music for this film and if you are thinking about

going to the cinema over the next couple of weeks, try and seek it out because it's definitely worth seeing on the big screen.

As is the film that we're here to talk about today, Next Go Wins.

Now it's based on a true story and Next Go Win stars Michael Fastbender as a football coach
