Hello, Will. How are you, my friend? I'm good. I am still celebrating since midnight the birth

of California. I should say the admissions day. California entered the union this day in 1850. That's

175 years ago. So, Feliz Cumbly. And you woke up at midnight to start celebrating?

Oh, I never went to bed.

That's why you seem so hammered.

It is like that.

I was going to spend some time talking about the fact that we used to really celebrate statehood

in California.

When I was a kid growing up, that was a big day.

There were parades and festivals, and, you know, there was lots of sort of, I don't know,

Mexican-inspired dancing, which, you know, may seem ironic to some people, but I love it.

Oh, man.

Yeah, and I know you're a big dance.

You have a ferreate some people.

But I also want to note that a couple of days ago, September 7th, you and I are recording

here on September 9th on September 7th.
