Welcome back to the truth with Lisa Booth. This week we're discussing the trial of Glean Maxwell,

which began on Monday. As you may know, Maxwell is a British socialite accused of helping Jeffrey

Epstein recruit and sexually abuse young girls. Federal prosecutors are alleging that Maxwell created

a network of underage victims for Epstein to target. So in other words, they are saying that

Maxwell was Epstein's right-hand woman. This trial will offer us a glimpse not only into the

dark lives of Epstein and potentially Maxwell, but maybe some of the prominent men that Epstein was

connected with. We're also going to get into Jeffrey Epstein because there is no trial of Glean

Maxwell without Jeffrey Epstein. But to discuss it all on this show is Vicki Ward who hosts the

documentary Chasing Glean, which is out on Discovery Plus. All three parts of Chasing Glean are

going to air back to back on ID this Friday at 8 p.m. Eastern 7 p.m. Central time. She's also the

host of the podcast Chasing Glean. She knew Glean Maxwell loosely dating back to 1999. She also

interviewed Jeffrey Epstein and an interview in 2002 for Vanity Fair. She had learned about two

accusers of Jeffrey Epstein. Vanity Fair actually cut that from the piece. So we're going to get

into that as well. And her experience is talking to Jeffrey Epstein. What was he like? He had threatened

her. What was that light? So we're going to get into all of it. It's going to be a fascinating show,

expert on all of this. You're such a subject matter expert on all these issues in the trial.
