coming up nationwide reported bumper profits this week and digging into the figures that

this is money team did,

they revealed a big rise in its margins on savers and borrowers credited to a decline in competition in the savings market. So while savers get sent letters, telling them their rates are being cut

due to low interest rate environment, banks and building societies are actually growing their margin.

What's going on? Is this fair? Plus, we'll be asking them, as they've been asking all week, their specialists,
