Before we get started, I'll address the elephant in the room. We are not in the studio if you

can't tell. But there's a very clear reason for that. DC was basically

on total and complete utter lockdown and it was mission impossible in order to get there you would have had to like

bribe 17 National Guardsmen and some cops and even then they probably wouldn't let you in.

So anyway, this is not something that's gonna continue

for the next episodes.

L.A. Chargers running back. Now he's super involved in politics so he's just a great guy all around

he's a friend of mine and he's also incredibly intelligent he has you know he's got a lot of

thoughts to share on the current political moment so I can't wait for that

But so we're doing remote it does feel a little weird does it feel weird for you Chris or no

I've been doing Rising Remote all week too because we literally can't get... The Rising Studio is downtown, very close to the White House actually, and they close the metro, they close the

metro, they closed the streets, they closed like you can't park under

there no parking garage, it was literally impossible to get into the studio,

so I guess I'm kind of like used to remote at this point but yeah I mean listen it's always nice to be in person and just creates a different conversation

but it will be what it will have to be this week I guess. That's true. I will say for my part I do

prefer more being in person than being remote but we'll make it work while we have to

make it work. But let me also say this is the first week that people have to tip the
