All right, hello podcast people. How you doing out there?

This is your old pal Chris Chifflet,

here with the latest installment of walking the floor.

And today is very special.

It's going to be a bit of a departure from what I've been doing. I've been

talking to musicians, you know, if you've been listening to the podcast, you know, I'm a musician.

I talk to other musicians, but I'm a musician I talk to other musicians but I'm also a super hardcore passionate

freaky-diki boxing fan anybody that knows me knows that I love boxing I follow

it obsessively. And today I'm

going to be talking to Mr Robert Garcia who's one of the premiere trainers in all of the

world. This guy is already a legend and has an

incredible stable of top-level pros up at his gym in Oxnard and I was lucky

enough to get to drive up there this week and not only have a great conversation with Robert, which I'll play here in a minute,

but also I got to talk to Brandon Rios, who's getting ready for his fight with Manny Pacchio, and I got to watch

Marcus Madonna spar and get ready for his fight with Adrian Broner, and Mikey

Garcia was in there, and Donito Donaire was going to be in there and they were going to spar too, but sadly I had to beat it back to LA and go back to work at 606.

So it was incredible. I just had a great time up there and you'll hear Robert Garcia. What a cool guy. You know, very welcoming, very easy to talk to him. There's a really strong close-knit family vibe in Robert

Garcia's gym and it was just great to get up there and talk to him. I was really I

didn't want to leave but sadly I had to. Anyhow, there's lots of stuff going on this week.
