Summary

Reflections on the real Jeremy Thorpe after the concluding episode of the brilliant BBC drama and the lessons to be learnt from the brief phase when he lit up the political stage. Somehow or other I move on from Thorpe to Brexit... all paths lead to Brexit. This will be a month of heightened drama in the Brexit saga. No wonder Brexit is already being turned into a TV serial. I wonder if it will be as good as A Very English Scandal - although the creators of the Brexit drama could use the same title.
