I could still see him standing there weeping and saying we used to walk in darkness and now we

walk in the light. And when I saw and heard that I said in my heart, okay Lord, if I have to leave even now.

Okay, Lord, if I have to leave even now, that's enough. We have gone through so many different steps of your life and we've also gone through now

you're actually there with the people you've learned something of their language

you've prayed publicly yes and I just we've talked a bit about the ministry but if we could go from that point now throughout your ministry a general summary.

Yeah, well at first of course I was concentrating on learning the language and writing it down to I mean not writing the language, but in analysis,

writing how the grammar and syntax

and all these things that people don't understand,

discourse structure and all that goes.

And writing some language lessons for my colleagues at the time who were new and just learning. So they were

not very far behind me, but they didn't have the tools that I did to look at a

language and see the elements and put them together and learn it.

Well, since we're doing this in part, one of your desires is to really help future missionaries.

I see sometimes that people will make a you know it you know

doctrine and the Bible is the most important if you don't have that and you don't

belong there.

Right.

Yet at the same time these other tools are necessary in order to get the gospel.
