he'd given an interview to a local Naples newspaper, and his name was Rafael A. Imperiale. This interview, it was a pretty audacious move, because at the time he was wanted on drug trafficking charges and was thought to be tied to the Neapolitan Camoramafia.

And Imperiale, he looked like this classic mob character.

He wore finely tailored clothes and expensive leather shoes.

But the thing that really grabbed my attention was his nickname, the Van Gogh boss.

Well, that's Van Gogh, if you're listening in the US, but Van Gogh doesn't really sound as good.

It came from a story that began in 2002, when these criminals sledge-hammered their way into the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam in the middle of the night.
