On this episode of Newt's world, you know I came from a family that suffered from addiction

to alcohol. My father really had problems with alcohol and my mother was you know really

debilitated by her alcoholism and depression and of course my father suffered from

mendic post traumatic stress. There's no one who would better fit a candidate for suffering from

PTSD than my late father after he witnessed his brother being shot killed. The fact of the

matter is my family was very emotionally impacted and psychologically impacted by everything that

happened and my brother and sister and I grew up in that house where all of that was going on.
