I'm Zach. This is my quite soft-spoken wife, Krista.

We've been through the beginning of this episode a couple of times

and realize that my voice carries really well in the microphone and hers doesn't.

So hopefully I don't blast you out and hopefully you can hear her.

But we are really excited to be with you.

This episode is First Nephi 8 through 15.

Lehi and Nephi's visions of the tree of life and everything else that go along with it.

But the question we're really asking is, how do I get myself and get others to that tree of life?

So our study tip for today actually goes perfect with that question and this chapter that we're

teaching today. The study tip is picture it. Picture the

story. This tree of life is a great example. We've all seen artwork about this one. We can kind of

see where we're at. And then also put yourself in the story. Picture yourself in the story.

It's kind of fun. You can Google images of the tree of

life and there's some fun little hand-drawn ones. There's obviously the ones that really familiar with,

but there were some really neat ones that gave a different perspective of the tree of life that I had

never thought of before. You know, I kind of have my own image that I have glued in my head of what the

tree of life looks like. And it was kind of cool to see some of these other, other pictures

and other illustrations. Yeah, because maybe we get set in the more popular ones, ones that we see

in the copies of the Book of Mormon, where there's so many different ways to really interpret
