you have probably heard that Alec Murdoch has been granted a new trial. We're going to bring

you a full breakdown of the South Carolina Supreme Court decision later this week, as well as a look

into the civil rights lawsuit he filed against the woman responsible for depriving him of his constitutional rights.

I know there's going to be another Murdoch trial. Can we believe it? So in advance of that,

we want to set the scene. So we're bringing you this true crime headline segment from the Patreon

archives. It was recorded back when the first Murdoch verdict came in. It's a peak kind of what we

thought would happen in

2023, what we didn't know was happening behind the scenes that we'll tell you about when we

cover the appeal. And we also want you to have an idea of what another trial is going to look

sure if Alec was the one who did it. And now, with his murder conviction vacated and his

attorneys are claiming there's new evidence that points to a third party, we're kind of all

left with the questions, did he do it? I mean, he's technically no longer a convicted murderer and will the low

country ever see justice for these the heinous heinous murders of maggie and paul murdock so we'll keep you

all apprised as he moves toward his retrial they're thinking it might be coming up here not too many

months from now maybe a year or less but we'll get into all of that in our appeal coverage.
