when you when you dig into the data that's as a part of that book, you realize one of the things

that are, you know, following young men is that they're self initiating in the man into manhood.

When Dr. Farrell went on Jordan Peterson's podcast for the third shout out for him on this show,

that's what they talked about. Because when nobody tells you, hey, you're a man now,

hear the good things about you that are innate, that are going to do you well.

Hear the bad things about you that are innate, that you're really going to struggle with.

And also, here's what the community requires. If you now hear your list of responsibilities,

if you don't do that, the boy will self initiate and he will say, well, I just had sex for the first

time, I guess, I'm a man. Well, I just moved out of the house and I moved on to college. I

guess I'm a man. Well, I just paid a cashman or my first pickup truck. I guess I'm a man now.

And when left to their own devices, a lot of these young men will shockingly turn to things that

aren't to their betterment or the betterment in flourishing in society around them instead of.

How's it going? Happy to be here, man. Thanks for having me. Yeah, for sure. So tell us about

yourself a little bit and about your business here and what you do. Yeah, I guess the short version

of it is when I was a teenager around the same time I was learning to become a man, I also

became a Christian. And so when you're going through that period early in your life and my dad

wasn't living with us at the time because my parents were divorced, like you got a lot of

kind of cultural cues of things that you're supposed to pick up on and things like that. And so

the really long story short is I grew up with the paradigm that all the godly men were in church,

doing all like the godly stuff, you know, they were shaking your hands and telling you they'd

pray for you and they they always had their, you know, shirts completely tucked in and it was all,
