Hey, what's up, guys? A new episode of Eastman's Elevated. So this week I have my buddy, Dan Heverin, back on the podcast.

So I just had him on a couple episodes ago, but he came down, was going to spend a few days with me

bear hunting and ended up harvesting a really nice color phase bore. So I've had this idea rolling around in my head that I want to mix in these episodes

about successful bow hunts along with having interviews with guests and talking hunting. But,

you know, my original idea was to go on a on a seven, eight, ten day hunt, whatever it is. And

every night I'd record, you know, 10, 15 minutes of what

happened during the date. So I could record a hunt in real time and then do a wrap-up at the end

and edit it all together and have that be an episode, you know, of an elk hunt, of a deer hunt,

or whatever it is. And so I really want to run that idea, but Dan was successful down here, and I thought,

boy, I got to get Dan on the podcast right away. So I think, you know, telling hunting stories is great,

but when it's fresh, it's so exciting and all the details are right there fresh in your mind.

And so I wanted to have him on just right away after he harvested this thing.

So he harvested the bear. We packed it out the next day and then got him right on the mic to

record this episode. And you can just hear the excitement in his voice. He is just thrilled.

Dan lives and dies for hunting Western game with his bow. And he's harvested quite a few bears,

but it's been a few years since he's got one. And he just practices nonstop and all he thinks about.

And so to see him be successful on a nice color phase bore is really cool. And you can just

hear the buzz of excitement when he gets talking

about it. So this is a really fun episode. I can't wait to see how it's received by you guys and

how you guys like it and to do more of these successful hunting stories mixed in the episode.
