So listen, Demetia, I'm absolutely thrilled to have you on.

You blew onto the Twitter scene in a big way last year with your super nerdy trade threads

and your snarky style, which obviously

really annoyed me and riled me because you basically stole what I'd been doing and just started

doing it really better. And we've literally only just met virtually. I mean, we know each other

on Twitter, but I've never spoken to you before.

And so literally about five minutes ago, we first Skyped each other. And we were just busy having a chat about some things that connect us beyond the trade sphere.

You were telling me that you have Ukrainian origins and Ukraine is close to my art as I worked on Ukraine for a number of years, both for the UK and the EU.

But you are an Australian.

I am. I should also warn your listeners. I'm far less amusing, intelligent and witty when I don't get to carefully edit everything that kind of comes out of me via the medium of a Twitter.
