And you know, we got some takes. It's your boy if you

wide away in the booth back again with my friends. So let me introduce you to them. First up,

we have the Christmas Eddie himself. Alonzo Duraldi, Siddon, hair is looking good, beer

even better. What's good? Well, apart from your return, iffy, which is

definitely a good thing. I am not a believer in New Year's resolutions. I think they're a pain

and they don't, they never work for me. But a thing I did decide to do this year is sort of an ongoing

project was every like mid-October or so the Christmas cookie magazines start

hitting the newsstands and they they grab me every time and I think oh yeah this is going to be the

year this is going to be the year that I try new things and make these recipes and I dog ear the pages

of the ones I think and then Thanksgiving ends and suddenly I'm like oh fuck I have, I have no time to do anything. I'm a lunatic. It's the award season and it's my usual holiday nonsense.

So my goal this year was I'm getting all of those cookie magazines and I am every weekend,

not every weekend, but every few weekends, I'm going to make one.

And I'm going to figure out what I like and what I can do.

And then that way when December rolls around, they will be recipes that I've already made once.

And those are a lot less daunting than trying some new experimental thing.
