Desi. Yes. Today we are going to be talking about Jaja Gabor. Yay.

I don't know how you felt about this woman when you were a child, but I was fascinated by her.

She was like the first person where I was like, why is she famous? Same. Like, she was that

person because she was on every talk show. She wasn't like ever promoting a movie or anything.

No. She just married rich and she was fabulous and she always had like funny banter. Yeah, she had old,

she was famous for having lots of funny quips. Yeah, she was kind of like an Elizabeth Taylor if she didn't have an acting career. Like she just married a lot of people. Yeah. That was like her main thing. And she was also self-aware, which was interesting. Like, she knew she was a ridiculous thing.

Right.

She's like an original, like, reality star almost without a show.

She really is.

And we're going to get into that because also she had famous sisters.

Yes.

Her mother became well known as well.

Her mom, I would say, is the original Chris Jenner.

Okay.

And yeah.

Her story, though, much like Mickey Rooney, I read her autobiography, there's a lot of things to sort of parse through there. So I had multiple sources for this

episode. One of my sources is the book Finding Jaja, the Gabor's Behind the Legend by Sam Staggs.

Now, this guy painfully goes through the weeds of all the, of like her autobiography, other people,

like he gets, interviews other people in her life.

Like he, he did a real deep dive and trying to make hay of all of this.

And I did read Jaja's autobiography, One Lifetime is Not Enough.
