Hi, everybody. And Josh Parham. Hello, hello. Okay, so after a couple of episodes of discussing the Academy Awards, They are officially behind us. It is over.

We are moving on. And that is why for this week's show, don't think of it so much as a

predictions episode. Doing predictions a year in advance is silly. It's foolish. It's just more

so for fun, just to look back and see how right or wrong, mostly wrong, you were.

We're really going to be talking instead about Oscar contenders this year that you probably should keep an eye out for.

Now, some of these have already premiered at other film festivals.

One has already been released theatrically with Dune Part 2, but there is so, so, so much more.

We're going to have Cannes coming around pretty soon.

I think that's going to be big this year with regards to introducing some new contenders,

especially in a post-strike world where so many releases that we're probably going to be ready this year actually

will not be so I think a lot of stuff is going to emerge internationally but we're

going to be talking about all of those contenders to like I said keep an eye on

these aren't predictions it's just a preview if you will for movies that we're

excited about throughout the rest of the year and then we got two trailers to discuss for Alien Romulus, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice.

We'll answer fan questions, go over the polls as we usually do.
