This week we wrap up, September 2018, with a look at Baklav Vorlicek's 1966 film Who Wants to Kill Jesse.

The film was co-written by Vorlechk and Milosh Makarek and concerns a couple.

The subtitles call them Henry and Rose, and so I guess we can call them Henry and Rose,

but we'll probably also call them by their proper names as we go through here,

Yindrick and Rosenka.

So please forgive me if we switch back and forth. But anyway, Henry and Rose, Rosie is a prestigious scientist who has discovered how to

manipulate dreams, so there are some unexpected consequences, while Henry makes his own discovery

as he reads a comic series about Jesse and sees her anti-gravitational gloves,

just the thing to help him out at his job.

Now we're going to be getting to spoilers galore in this episode, so if you don't want anything ruined, be aware.

Otherwise, just sit back and enjoy the lunacy.

Jonathan, when was the first time you saw who wants to kill Jesse, and what did you think?

I saw it around 2005 or 2006, so around that time.

And at that point, I was already deep into post-grad research on Czech film.
