Summary

Jean Spangler, an aspiring actress in Hollywood, vanished on the evening of October 7, 1949. She was last seen leaving her home in Los Angeles, telling her sister-in-law she was going to meet her ex-husband, Dexter Benner, to discuss a child support payment before heading to a film set. However, she never returned home. Despite extensive investigations, no conclusive evidence was found, and Jean's fate remains a mystery. Various theories have been proposed, including a botched abortion, involvement with gangsters, and connections to the infamous Black Dahlia case, but none have been substantiated and to this day, her case remains unsolved.
