Interesting. So it's nice to be back here talking to you, Crystal.

We got a really interesting show to look forward to. We have Fashikir, who was Bernie Sanders campaign manager.

Wowsers. That's a big get if I don't say so myself.

Sure.

But he's also doing this amazing new venture called More Perfect Union, which is basically like investigative reporting for labor issues, for workers rights, for things of that nature.

So he's done some amazing videos that have gone viral.

Yeah.

We want to talk to him about that, talk to him about everything about this new project that he's doing. It really is what CNN should be doing, what all the news outlets should be doing.

That's what he's doing.

Such an important addition to the media ecosystem, I cannot possibly understand.

I mean, one of the things that we really realized in the Bernie Sanders campaign is like, holy shit, the mainstream media is so goddamn influential.

Still, still they say jump and the Democratic base at least is like, how high?

What can we do to combat that? Well, it phases come up with a piece of the puzzle here in creating alternative media that does real journalism that isn't about hyperpartisan horse races, just actually about the struggles of working people and lifting up those voices.

Yeah. That's very excited to talk to him about that.

I'm sure we'll have some questions from that maybe a little challenging about Biden and Bernie and all of those things, but we'll get all of that.

For the course. That's what we do here. So anyway, but there was something that I wanted to talk about in our little intro that we got here.

We have this is interesting. Yeah.

So Russell Brands, a really interesting character. Now, I have to say initially, he wants a mic cup of tea initially.

And if I had to speculate why that was a little more hippie-ish for my taste, you know, got the spiritual vibe.

Yeah. And, you know, I was more like, I came from the like, I'm an atheist, you know, school of thought, not like the, let's feel out the energy school of thought.
