Everyone in the family has a flu shot now, I think, except for me.

Ooh. How effective are those?

I've heard different things about the advocacy of the flu shot.

I can't tell from year to year. I've been getting them pretty much since I've had kids and I haven't noticed a big difference. I still always get a cold or several of them during the winter.

Oh that's a cold, that's not the food.

Well maybe it would be worse, you know, I can't tell a difference.

I don't think a flu shot does anything for a cold and you can.

Yeah, you probably don't believe medicine works either so of

course I do but I'm saying why would a flu shot protect you from the the cold well it's

just protecting you gets one particular strain of virus and so maybe you don't

get that strain of you the flu shot but there are other

strains I guess they're less severe I don't know sometimes they make the flu shot

wrong where they try to predict what strain it will be and they get it wrong but I
