Hi everybody. We have some bad news. Our friend Pat Plazic, who we were, we did the benefit

show for, passed away this week and we're very sad over here.

That was 35, 34.

And I've known him for about 30 years and, uh, wow, that's a long time.

Yeah.

One of the best friends I've ever had, and I think a lot of people felt that way about them.

And I just wanted to thank everyone who sent messages, who knew about this and thanks to everyone who came to our

benefit show and supported the cause and donated to his treatment. In the end he was never well enough to get the

treatment. That's right. But I know he was moved by your support and by all these strangers he never met that

yeah that or we're helping him out and it makes me happy to know that he knew how many people

cared about him. And we just wanted to put this message here because it's

happened, it happened this week but I guess we we have to

now transition to a show yeah yeah and we're pre-taping a whole bunch of episodes so I think the

next five or six episodes have all already been recorded before Pat passed away.

So it might just seem weird if so much time passes before we mention it.

So we put this here and rather than jumping from this somber start to a show into it's still a comedy show.

Yeah, I mean debatable but right that's the intention. Yeah. We thought to

change gears I'm gonna put a song here. Pat and I played in a band together called The

Screaming Eagles and actually when this podcast started I think the first

episode maybe the first two episodes with the theme song was a

song that we had recorded in our band and so I'm going to put that song here from the year 2005, the Screaming Eagles,
