I've been putting out at the beginning of the week with Boston Marathon finishers.

I've been having a lot of fun doing that.

Today's episode is episode 378 and my guest is Carrie Beardham.

And this is really fun because Carrie is coached by Lee Troup,

who was on the podcast last week.

And I thought it was really fun to be able to interview coach and athlete pretty close together.

Carrie ran her debut marathon at the Chicago Marathon this past year.

She was the fifth American seventh overall.

She ran a 231 and it was a really hot day.

I don't know if you remember Chicago last year but it was really hot.

And that was her debut marathon.

She is also a track athlete.

She ran the 5,000 and the 10,000 at the Olympic trials last year.

She placed 10th in the 5,000, 27th in the 10,000.

And she's kind of having a resurgence of her career.

She ran for the University of Colorado and then took a pretty big break from running.

And now is back at it full force and she is one to be watching.

She is also a first grade teacher which is really cool.
