This is episode 376 and my guest is Melindi Elmore.

Melindi is a returning guest on the show.

She came on the podcast in January of 2020 after she ran the Canadian record for the marathon at Houston in 224.50.

So that was episode 222 of this podcast.

Go back and listen to that first if you want to get a little intro to Melindi's story and journey to get to Marathonine's success.

But Melindi just ran the Boston marathon.

She placed 11 and you're going to hear about her experience in this episode.

But she's got things to say about the course and her experience and the outcomes.

And also Melindi ran her first Olympic marathon this past year.

She ran in Tokyo for Team Canada and placed 9th.

Top 10 was her goal.

We talk about that as well.

I kind of wanted to have Melindi on after the Tokyo Olympics.

I'm not sure why I didn't.

So it was fun in this episode to get to talk about both Tokyo and the Boston marathon.

Which by the way was just her fourth marathon.

She's run Houston twice Tokyo and Boston.

You're going to hear about her road to get here a little bit in this episode.
