Tired dangerous threat to democracy a cannot in good conscience endorse Donald Trump

we don't take an oath to a king or queen or a tyrant or a dictator we don't take an oath to a wannabe dictator.

We worked with him, we knew him.

This man is unfit to be president.

A second term would be more dangerous than a first.

Geejin Ping and Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong-un, they're fully prepared to take advantage of him.

Yes, I do regard him as a threat to democracy.

Or all those things that make America great. Now if I don't get elected, it's going to be a bloodbath.

Why are they taking the knee and why are they doing it in such humiliating fashion, including Mitch McConnell.

Well, these are classic authoritarian dynamics and the saddest, one of the saddest things about authoritarianism is it asks you to betray not only your compatriots when they start getting hauled away

for deportation, you turn the other cheek or you abet the violence, but it asks you to betray

yourself.

And it's a kind of moral collapse that,

you know, having Trump back on Capitol Hill,

I see this as a kind of symbolic undoing of January 6th, where he had Republicans running for their lives.

These were people who were calling their loved ones to say goodbye.

Some of them, you know, escaped harm by 20-30 seconds. And authoritarian leader

cults required you to submit to that and then forget about it. Forget about your own well-being, and instead clapped the leader who has

humiliated you and put you in harm. You don't always get choices of your love. You get

what mom made for dinner or take your ass a bed. And in this case, it's either

what mom made for dinner or Hitler.
