Today on the show I get to chat with the incomparable Kristen Chenoweth. She's an Emmy and Tony award winning actress.

You probably know her as the original Glinda in Broadway's wicked or from pushing daisies or from Glee or from a Christmas love story on hallmark or you know how I love her role in Schmiggedon or from any of the other amazing projects she has done on March 8th.

Just a couple of days ago Kristen released her first children's book called What Will I Do With My Love Today. It's so precious.

It's like the most heartwarming story about a young girl named Kristi Dawn who shares her love through all these acts of generosity around New York City. It is so sweet.

I'm 100% positive that all our mini BFFs are going to love it. She's lovelier than you can imagine. I am beyond excited to share our newfound friendship with you.

So here's my conversation with Kristen Chenoweth.

This is the second time we've been in the same room. You ready? Oh my God. Tell me. I was at the night that Broadway reopened on at Wicked.

What? And you came out of the best dress I've ever seen.

Christian Syria. It was amazing. I can't believe you were there.

Yes. So Jenna Claire is one of my dearest friends in the world.

What? Yes. You know her parents are here. She grew up here.

I did not know that and I love that child. She knows how I feel about her. She's amazing.

I cannot believe it. And that's so funny. I know. Well, you tell her I said hi.

I will do it. I will do it. Tell me what that night meant to you when Broadway reopened because you're so close to that community and what they had been through for 18 months.

First of all, thank you for asking about it because New York, I believe we got hit pretty hard. Yes. Maybe the hardest. Yes.

And I thought in my ignorance that it would be a couple weeks and then we'd be getting back to normal.

So when Broadway finally opened and Stephen Schwartz asked me to who's the composer and lyricist to wicked.

Ask me to come to the curtain speech to welcome everybody back. I first of all, I felt guilty because I had tickets to the Lion King.

But I said, yes, but I got to get in and out because I got to go to Lion King. I thought he was going to have a heart attack.
