Summary

http://www.tropicalmba.com/entrepreneurialpeople/ A few weeks ago, Dan and Ian sent out an email to the listeners of this podcast, in an attempt to get to know the audience a little better.

They were excited to find out that many of the listeners of this podcast consider themselves to be entrepreneurial, but they don't have their own business yet. They were also excited to meet some young, entrepreneurial minds at a recent Dynamite Circle Junto, and they decided to start exploring what it means to be an entrepreneurial person.

This week's episode is for those people. If you haven't started a business yet, but you are ready to find a way to turn your dreams into aspirations, this is the episode for you.

we got a mailing list. Apparently, we almost never mail. I was going to say, I think out an email to many of the listeners of this podcast. If you don't know, we got a mailing

list. Apparently, we almost never mail. I was going to say, I think we've only done that like three times in the last year. So I got a response from so many of the listeners, Ian, and they were basically saying, I don't have a business, but I listen to your show. And I got thinking like, oh, yeah, because like so many of the listeners, probably 90% of the listeners that we meet have a business.

But I think if you maybe looked at the actual composition of the audience, it could be the opposite way around, right?

1:03.5

It could even be inverted from that.

1:05.7

I don't know.

1:07.0

Kind of thing we might want to send a survey out for.

The other night, I'm out at a junto, a DC Junto, and I run into a couple really smart

young people.

1:17.5

So just to clarify DC Junto, third Thursday of the month, in multiple cities across the

1:23.5

world, inside of the DC, people organize these meetups.

1:26.4

You go to them, you drink beer and you

1:27.6

talk business. Yeah, 20 cities worldwide in January. And so I met some young people that asked

1:33.8

me some really good questions about what it's like to be an entrepreneur and stuff. And just a couple

1:38.6

things kind of started happening over the last few weeks that I thought, why don't we make an

1:42.8

episode for people that are entrepreneurial,

1:45.3

but don't have a business yet? What does it mean to be an entrepreneurial person?

1:49.8

Okay, so that's a good question. I think the first thing is that there's like two types of people

1:54.4

in the planet. Everybody has like hopes and dreams about what their future might look like.
