Summary

The Satanic Panic swept the country 1980s, in which claims of widespread ritual abuse and occult conspiracies were treated as real threats. Targets were wrongfully convicted, children were taken from marginalized homes, all while much of the “evidence” seemed to stem from one man’s written account.
