Episode 372. Malta. Loses. A Hero. Last time, having gotten up to March of 1942, the defenders of Malta were at a low point.

Yet they wondered how could they not? Could it get any worse? They were about to get an answer.

Their latest convoy delivery had been a disaster. The island's airfields were being bombed daily.

Hell, one bomb that landed near a pilot's residence at Takali actually lifted him up into the air 20 feet

and it placed him on the second floor of his building. He was unhurt but wasted no time in thinking his guardian angel.

Either way, Malta was being pounded and General Kesselring was not going to stop until the island was his.
