Hi, folks. How are you? I hope this finds you well. It is Monday, the 12th of June, as I'm recording this. I've got a bit of a spring in my step this Monday morning, which is a nice way to start the week. It's not always the case, but this Monday I'm kind of raiding and ready to go. I don't know if you can heed as well, but it's just stopped. It's the's the nature of the business you know where we both my

husband and I both work from home and do various things from home my other half currently uh doing

some voice warming up ahead of a show this week so he's like I've just got to go and sing for an hour

which is I've got to say the most beautiful soundtrack to walking around the house and getting sorted for the day.

So we've got Ocean of Night being sung in the background, which you may be able to pick up.

You may not.

So we don't have any soundproofing in the house.

So, hey-ho.

Anyway, I hope you're well.

And I hope you've had a great weekend. There is so much exciting stuff coming up over the next few weeks, both in terms of, you know, those kind of big summer blockbusters, those big moments on TV to speak of the new Black Mirror series that is coming on Netflix.

We're going to be speaking to Charlie Brooker about that on the podcast, which I'm so excited about.

And I've been lucky enough to have advanced screenings of the new series, which is, as you'd expect, brilliant, incite, terrifying.

And I think it's something brave about the show as well. Anyway, really excited to chat to Charlie Brooker. Also, James Mangold for Indiana

Jones. Andy and his sister Barbara Machete for The Flash, which I saw at the weekend. And I

thought the film was phenomenal. I've got to say, I just have the tone of it. I know there's a lot

controversy surrounding it with regards to Ezra Miller, which

resulted in a really interesting conversation with my 15 year old as well. But we'll talk about

that when we get to that episode with Andy Machete. Also, we've got a special Wicker Man edition

coming up that I mentioned last week, but very excited because this week it's a welcome return to

soundtracking to our very good friend, the composer Daniel Pemberton, who has provided the score

for the simply, I mean, it's kind of hard to put into word sensational Spider-Man across the Spider-verse. I saw this a couple of weeks ago

and with the first film, we as a family have gone back to it time and time and time again. I think
