The Adventures of Frank Race was a syndicated program, but it had the writing and acting

talents of the best West Coast network radio shows.

Race was played for the first 22 episodes by Tom Collins,

an actor who'd starred as another globe trotting hero,

John Do the Magician.

After Collins left, he was succeeded by Paul Dubov,

a versatile actor who would go on to have a stint as Jeff Reagan investigator.

Mark Donovan was played by Tony Barrett, a very busy radio character actor.
