of Ride the Lightning, your weekly Tesla unofficial podcast for September 11th, 2022.

And I regret that I have to start this week's show with a correction and an apology. I incorrectly attributed the

F Elon Musk quote that I had brought back when I talked about that last week. That quote was

from 2020.

I attributed that to Lena Gonzalez, the California State Senator that I was talking about

last week, who is behind the push to get FSD declared to be unfair terminology that Tesla must change.

As of this recording, Governor Newsom still has not signed or vetoed that bill that was passed by the California State Senate,

so no update there as of now. However, the person that tweeted the aforementioned expletive at Elon Musk two years ago in the early days of the pandemic

was Lorena Gonzalez not Lena Gonzalez so just two extra letters separate them, but they are two different state officials.

And thus, you can see how I might make that mistake, but it was still quite honestly a very

journalistically sloppy mistake for me a graduate of journalism school to make and I do

want to sincerely apologize for that error.

That said, I do, I stand by everything I said.

I think my point still stands in that I still think

that Lena Gonzalez's whole, another child killed. Do we? think that quote I found very very disingenuous they just came from two different

people but not not one person so again I apologize for that I take a lot

of pride in trying to be very factually accurate on this podcast I got that one

wrong I will take means to not do repeat that mistake in the future
