The commanders finally have signed a veteran unrestricted free agent linebacker, all of the people

who had been clamoring for the team to bring in a veteran linebacker. Well, your wish has been

granted. The commanders on Sunday afternoon announced the signings of three players and the

releases of three players and among the players signed linebacker Nathan Gary. He was taken by

the Philadelphia Eagles in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL draft out of Nebraska played for the

Eagles for four seasons 2017 through 2020 has not played in an NFL regular season game since the

2020 season. So there you go, Nathan Gary reunited with Carson Wentz, right? The two of them

played together on the Eagles. So there is that. By the way, among the players with the commanders

released on Sunday afternoon was their behemoth quarterback Cole Kelly. We've talked about him a

little bit. Undrafted rookie out of South Eastern Louisiana University. The commanders listed him as

being six, seven, two, 50, six, seven, two, 50 at the quarterback position. I thought that we would

see a decent amount of Cole Kelly in the second halves of these 2022 commanders preseason games,

but perhaps not. Now that he's no longer on the team, I guess he could be brought back, but for
