I am so excited to be back talking to you guys.

Today we have my friend Christine Rosen, who is a senior fellow at AEI, the American Enterprise Institute. And she's co-host of my favorite other podcast, the commentary magazine podcast, which I've been listening to for years now. And really, it was like such a beacon of light to me during co-vill lockdowns and 2020 on and just sort of

like there it's a very very popular and good podcast that um is very politically aligned with me and

they're just really funny people that host it anyway she's also a fellow at the institute

for advanced studies and culture at the university of virginia and she's just my friend and all-around cool girl.

So I'm excited to have her on.

And we have a lot of stuff to get to today, including the Academy Awards last night, which I watched like two-thirds of it.

And then I got bored.

I went to bed, the State of the Union and all this insanity with Kate Middleton.

Miranda, it's good to see you back. You are out because your kids have been so sick, which is something that happens to both

of us and has been really awful.

I feel like I have just been, people keep saying that my voice sounds nasally.

I've had a cold I can't shake for weeks now and I just like cannot shake it and I don't

know what's going on.

So I'm like, are we just like sick forever?

Sick forever. Everyone's going to be sick all the

time. The answer to that is yes, anybody who has like young children who haven't entered school yet,

like enjoy your healthy years while you have. They're over like very soon. Yeah. If you have kids in

school, you're perpetually sick, I think.

That's, it's just, that's the way it's going to be.
