Hope everyone's having a good week. We had some shorts, whether this week.

So that was nice. 47 degrees. Not bad. Over the weekend, what did I do?

Oh, I went up to Fondaleck, saw my grandma Sue. She's doing well.

Thanks. I'll tell you. She says, hi, my uncle Joel was there.

So we went out on Lake Winnebago where they were doing the sturgeon spearing.

So we walked around, you know, saw a couple unlucky sturgeons meet their demise.

That's a hell of a way to go, actually, because those things get up, I think they grow,

like an intro to a year. So they, they lived to be 50 or 60. Could you imagine that?

Like you, you've been in Lake Winnebago for 50 or 60 years and then just one winter day,

you go try and eat it decoy and boom, done. Well, that's a sad story, Charlie.

The truth of it is actually that the Winnebago system has won the strongest sturgeon

populations in the world. So that's pretty, pretty slick.

Now, there was that issue, though, this year we had the sturgeon general.

That's an official title. Someone in the DNR was, you know,

dipping into the caviar a little bit.

That's a big no-no, because you know, I don't think they were selling it or anything.

I think it was for internal use, but, you know, that is how those populations go down

is if people start being like, oh, my gosh, that caviar, I could sell that.

I think it goes for a crazy amount per tin and I don't quite get it.

I've had it before, because here's the thing, if you catch a sturgeon,

you can have like the caviar, you can like, you know,
