and I couldn't get out of my house basically to get here and I texted him again and said

John I'm coming in hot totally sober wasn't doing anything fun I was literally sitting on my couch

but I'm coming in hot unlike the the Minnesota Twins who are... That's a great segue. Thank you. That's why I'm the best in the business. The best segue man in the business, they call me. It seems like... So last week, they dropped the Sunday game to Shoah O'Hawah Tani. Right. But there's no shame in that. Of course. And it was a good game. And they had just finished, what was it, a seven and three road trip, I think? Something like that. Yeah, something like that, yeah. And they had climbed to within a half game of first place. And we thought, all right, they've taken those early shots in the fight. They were down on the canvas. Some people were trying to count them out. They got back up. They're close to 500. The Indians are slumping also, and so the division title is there for the taking. The schedule eases up a little bit. You got a big long homestand here. All these things were adding up to me. Although, first is some good teams.

Yes. But me thinking this time next week, which is to say right now, we'd be talking about all right. They continued it. They had another good week. Now they're just a game or two from climbing into the winning record territory, which is when you can really start to put the pedal to the metal and actually start to build on your record here. And instead, they just, they were just flat all week. It was just an ugly week, including what we're going to talk about a lot, is some injuries to key players. Yeah, yeah, lots of bad injury news this week. Yes, it's just insult to injury. It's, they're not playing well. Was there any? There really was no good injury news this week. Well, it's just everything. I mean, Seno started his rehab, which was I guess. But midway through the week, we're hearing, yeah, it's a slow healing process here. And, you know, Santana and Trevor May took steps forward. But, I mean, really at this point, the pitching hasn't been great, obviously. I guess we did have the Santana in May. You're right.

I forgot about that.

But the bigger concern is that this offense is just nothing.

It's just they don't even have like the random, you know, 10, 12 run explosion.

Their explosions are like five runs now.

And then they just, it's almost like five, six years ago when our big complaint was it seemed like all the hitters were just up there trying to take two pitch at bats.

Right.

And that's how it is now.

It's like they've gone away from – and certainly the Maurer injury is not going to help this at all because he's the most patient. He was really the only patient guy in the whole lineup when Robbie Grossman wasn't playing.

They're just up there hacking.

And I feel like even when they get into good situations, you know, dying second, second and third one out, all that stuff.
