It's unfortunate in that at the time that it came out, it was quite, it was hailed, it was well respected, it was critically reviewed in the positive, but it is not held up well over time.

It shows a very ineffective female producer who is doing battle with what I think are well-meaning but stupid men.

Now, we are living in a day and age where we don't just have well-meaning but stupid men. We have men that may very well be the antithesis of well-meaning. They may mean

very ill. They may be very ill. They may be very hostile. I don't want to point out our president-elect,

The movie Broadcast News showed a work environment that is, is patty cake compared to what they're going through now. Absolutely. Female reporters today.
