So today we are going to start a multi-part series on the quiz show scandals of the 1950s.

Now, in a very strange coincidence, the great and very hot Robert Redford died today,

and he directed the Oscar-nominated movie Quiz Show, starring Reifines and John Terturo,

which covers the story of the scandal involving the popular quiz show 21,

which we will get into a little bit today and more next week. I just thought that was really weird,

because that's how I knew about this scandal was from that movie. Yeah. Robert Redford first saw

21 in the late 1950s when he was in his early 20s,

taking art and acting classes in New York. And he talked about when he first saw Charles

Van Doren on the show, that's the guy we finds planes in the movie. He said watching him
