Boys, we have a very special episode dial up today because we have the most special

fans in radio. We have the best fans in the radio business and they have

we have the best fans in the radio business and they have flooded our inbox with ideas, episode ideas and we're going to grind through some of those

today. But before we do that we've've got a little breaking news item Piper. So I just

ripped this one off the wire. We have a special report here that T4G has put out a bulletin indicating that this year's

conference will be their last conference. They're shutting it down. They're closing up shop on the big

reformed conference game and my question to both of you boys is why are they doing this and is this a good thing or not and conference man

will start with you is this a moment of great sadness for you you have to

like cross one off the calendar like this is tough this

would be like a a favorite athlete dying for for me and Piper what are your thoughts on this baby

boys I appreciate that sentiment. Yeah, it's hard for you.

Oddly enough I've always been more of a TGC conference guy not so much T14, but nevertheless

the point is taken. And, you know, it's funny because, you know, I'm thinking about Mark Devver and I'm thinking about, you know, this is a brother that seems to be pretty principled in how he operates and how he makes decisions and I mean that in a positive way and I just wonder if you know when we talk about celebrity pastors and we talk about how these

conferences make celebrities out of pastors and the result of that has not been

good for most of these most of these dudes I'm just wondering and this is just a thought,

it's based on nothing other than a thought.
