as Casey Crime Photographer in Hot New Year's Party.

Originally aired on CBS on January 1st, 1948,

it finds Casey, reporter Anne Williams,

and police Captain Logan investigating a deadly case of arson, a case where an

ancient code holds the key to solving the mystery.

Jan Minor and Bernard Lenro play Anne and Logan and John Gibson is Ethelbert, the bartender at the Blue Note Cafe.

Alonso Dean Cole wrote the script and John Dietz was the director.

Then it's the first year, another strange story by the Whistler.

This one stars Gerald Moore, radio's Philip Marlow,
