Hello, welcome to Hollywood crime scene. This is Rachel Fisher. Hi, this is Desi Jetican. Well, today we will be

discussing the life of author, actress, and one of the all-time iconic video vixens, Corinne

Steffens, aka Superhead. Now, she was everywhere in the early 2000s, and she has had quite a wild life,

including sexual relationships with some of the biggest names in music. And she told all in her

2005 memoir Confessions of a Video Vixen. Did you read this book?

I didn't, but I remember this book. So this basically covers the

first 25 years of her life, and they are jam-packed. Are you excited about this? I'm so excited. I got

no reaction. I was like, oh, okay. No, I am excited. I'm sorry, my brain is still trying to, I'm like putting together like that algebra

gif. I'm like, when, when does the Bush reference come in? Well, we will get to that. So let's get

started. Corinne was born in St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands in August of 1978 to an 18-year-old native of the island and a 26-year-old guy from Long Island who eventually goes back to the mainland when Corin is just six years old.

Her mom then moves back in with Corinne's grandmother who's living in a four-room, one bath house with five other relatives and eventually two more sisters.

That's ten people.

So conditions are pretty rough here.

They have no hot water, no AC.

They don't have washing machines.

And sometimes they even have to drink water from the toilet, like to whatever, to have something to drink.

Yeah.

So thank God for plumbing and water.

I'm always so grateful when I hear stories like this that some people just don't have that.

It's like a luxury.

Yeah.

So despite a mom who's kind of aimless and not really pushing her kids. Corinne is very smart from the start.
