Hi, everyone. I hope you had a wonderful week. I know a lot of kids and teachers have already gone back to

school, but it is back to school week in Washington, D.C. So again, wanted to give a shout out to all the

parents who were getting their kids ready for school, all the teachers who are getting their

classrooms ready. And I know a lot goes into it.

And so I hope you guys all have a fantastic week.

We don't have that many shows on right now, which is a little bit of a relief to me.

However, it's annoying that they're both on Thursday because that means I have to watch them as soon as possible

and then record and try to, you know, turn over an episode quicker than I'm used to doing.

Sometimes I like to record a little earlier in the week and that's getting a little hard to

do. I have a fantastic guest. Tom Hamlet is on the podcast this week. We get into Miami and into the Real Housewives of the OC. And I think we cover a lot of ground. One thing I did want to bring up, which I talked about when we discussed Miami, is what's going on with Kiki and with her family

and her trying to bring a number of relatives from Haiti to the United States. And I talked

about when I chatted with Tom about the welcome core, which I was supposed to be a part of before it got shut down, where you can

sponsor a family to come to the United States that has already been on the list of approved

refugees, but there's just not a refugee organization that can sponsor them at that time.

So I thought that's what she was doing. But there is also

this other program that was specifically for people from Haiti and a couple other places like

Nagaragua and Venezuela. And I think that's actually what Kiki was doing. So it's this parole program

where you have to have this adequate

income to cover the sponsored individuals for a period of time, sometimes I think two years.

And so I think she was doing this and bringing her relatives over one by one. And it's a lot of
