January 1st, 2024 was just another day off work for some and a day at work for those manning Miami's Bayside Mall.

But that evening, hundreds of police descended on the shopping center allegedly for a brawl.

But folks online claiming that they were there described something out of this world.

This week's episode is the Miami Bayside Mall Alien Incident, Part 1.

It could be a ghost, a demon or worse, Perhaps you're the victim of a witch's curse.

We've got a meta-narrative this week because there's been an internet hoax all weekend that was debunked today at 2 p.m. or 1 p.m. when the president was alive.

Despite wishful thinking, I did not think he was, he had passed.

No, he was definitely alive. I think he looks a little shitty, but that's just an older person who doesn't take care of them for the wear.

Yeah. Yeah. But that and then what we're going to be talking about today are very good examples of how you don't

really know what to suss out. It's truth or not. And also how things kind of take on a life of

their own and get to a point where it becomes the Internet's story. You know, real, real people,

like, who even knows if they're involved at that point? It's just bots on the internet feeding you a story that may or may not

be true. Right. And it's algorithms that are like, well, you watched one video, so you would want

23 more videos, not to mention people that just want attention that are going on going, well, I know I live in Kansas, but I was in Miami with my family. Okay, well, like, where are the photos of you guys there together? Like, people don't ever want to come on and corroborate afterwards. I remember first hearing about War of the Worlds in 1938 and being like some guy just like read of-

You were alive in 1938? No, I'm saying. Yeah, right? But I remember being like, wow, people in 1938 were so fucking stupid that they turned on the radio and were like, aliens are invading because they heard someone who sort of sounded like a newscaster on the radio. They were smarter than us because eventually they would be told that was the worst walls on the radio and be like, oh, okay.

To this day, there are people that are like, I don't care. You can show me the flight records that all flights still went off at the exact time that they were supposed to. It does, I don't believe you. That's fake data. And it's just like, we're at a point where like some people aren't going to believe anything. No. And we're at a point where AI is making it really hard to tell what's real and what's not.

So it's a weird point in the timeline to be trying to suss out like major news events.

And if they're true or not, like, is the president alive? Did aliens descend on Miami on New Year's Day? Well, yes and maybe.
