I'm putting out an episode really quick because I met James Hetfield. Um, safe to say, he's a hero of mine, has been since I was a kid, probably one of the

reasons that I make music for a living, definitely one of the reasons I play guitar. And a lot of people

saw my Instagram post from the weekend, my M72 magical weekend, and are curious

about what the headfield thing was like. And I know a lot of you don't want to wait until

next week's episode where I am doing the full-on M72 St. Louis Recap weekend with my friend

Bradley Blazick. I did come home straight from the St. Louis weekend into two full tracking days for the new

Morgan Wade record and then right into a cold. Daddy has a cold. So you will have to bear with me,

but I want to talk briefly about this James Hepfield thing because it was so cool. A lot of

you were curious. So a week ago, maybe a little more.

Out of the blue, there was an announcement that James Hedford was going to be doing a book signing for his new awesome book, Messengers, which I'm going to do a whole episode on this book.

This book is great.

It's similar to the car book he did.

You know, it's a coffee table type book with a bunch of really great pictures and information interviews about notable guitars in his collection. And all the big ones are there. It's not everything,
