Do you believe high school sports is essential?

In light of COVID-19 and all that is going on throughout the country, it has been a question

that people are wrestling with and discussing at length.

I didn't realize how polarizing of a topic it was until I tweeted the other day that I would

argue that high school sports for a teenager is essential.

Wow.

The can that that opened was incredible.

I shared that and more as we discuss a very important topic of high school sports

and if they are essential or not. We are curious your input on this as we've learned that

people are on multiple sides of the fence, sometimes over here, sometimes over there. We'd love

to know what you think about this topic,

TJ introduces a thought that I tend to agree with. I think is really, really interesting about how decisions should be made in these type of environments as we try to figure out what is the best plan

for resuming sports specifically in the high school space. So big topic today, very polarizing

So TJ, earlier this week, the county, next to the county that I live in, Montgomery

County, Maryland, the largest county in Maryland made the decision and sent an announcement

out. I read it through the Washington Post that they are canceling all sports for fall and winter in high school.
