Hi, this is Desi Jadikin. We're back. Sorry for the delay. I had some foster kitten drama, but he's all good and better.

We're back with our final part on Tracy Lords. Once again, my sources are her memoir underneath it all. I also found several documentary clips from

Tracy Lord's X-rated ambition, the Tracy Lord's story, a few old L.A. time articles on the case

when it was dropping. And I also found a good article by Lily Anilic for Town and Country,

where she discusses Tracy's legacy in the world, basically, and in pop culture.

So where we left off, Tracy has been busted,

and she kind of found out that the FBI had been

onto the fact that she was performing while underage for pretty much her whole career

in adult film.

She realizes that once again, she is nothing but a piece of meat being used by the FBI this

time instead of the porn industry and the men in her life. Despite the relief that she

feels that it's kind of finally all over, the stress of it all is almost certainly not over. She has

pretty much no money. The industry she made a ton of money for is now turning on her. And she still has that loser boyfriend, Scott.

She really trusts no one and feels completely alone. She finally finds a protector when she

hires a new attorney, Leslie Abramson. Oh. This is Pre Menendez brothers, obviously, and she comes on just in time because Tracy is

facing an onslaught of subpoenas from prosecutions around the country. Basically, the FBI is

trying to prosecute every place that sold a video, every distributor. So this is like all over the country,

anyone who may have rented a movie, sold a movie, are now under investigation and possibly

facing criminal charges. So she's basically, they want her to testify in all of these cases, which is hundreds and hundreds of cases.

There's obviously not just those people who possibly unknowingly were selling these things, but there's new pigs on the block.

They're selling her underage movies after it was announced that they were illegal,
