| 1:05.7 | There is so much bad news. There are wars going on, there are children dying, there are politicians |
| 1:15.5 | getting assassinated in my home state, and there is so much injustice everywhere. And all of this |
| 1:26.5 | going on makes me feel like things are out of control. And I think it |
| 1:32.8 | makes a lot of other people feel like things are out of control. And that leads to a lot of |
| 1:38.4 | anger and resentment and lack of empathy. And because this is my platform and I get to decide what I talk about, I want to talk about |

| 1:51.4 | And what I really worry about with society, with myself, with the Bravo fandom, is that we are being exposed to so much, so many awful things, |
| 2:09.3 | and it is eroding the empathy that we allow ourselves to have for other people. We feel there is a scarcity of empathy and that we must |
| 2:20.2 | reserve our empathy only for those who are the most deserving. And we'll pick and choose |
| 2:26.4 | between people, between groups. It even extends into the proffo space where people are just railing against, you know, it's okay to not |
| 2:37.0 | like certain folks on the show, but like this feeling that you can't have any empathy for someone |
| 2:44.0 | who's made a mistake, right? And I find myself asking those types of questions too. And it makes me worried for myself because something that I've always tried to possess |
